Can I stay anonymous?
Yes. Tick "Send anonymously" on the tip form, or use Signal/SecureDrop/Tor — we collect no metadata on those channels. For full deniability, never use a work device and always connect from outside your normal network.
How do I send large files or sensitive documents?
Signal supports up to 100 MB per attachment. ProtonMail + ProtonDrive handle larger files end-to-end encrypted. For multi-GB drops, use SecureDrop or contact us first to set up a one-time encrypted upload.
Do you pay for tips?
No. Paying for information would corrupt our editorial integrity and put sources at risk. We do offer recognition (if you want it) and a guaranteed response.
What if I want to retract a tip after sending?
Email or message us on the same channel and ask. We have not published anything based on the tip until we tell you we have — your "kill switch" works any time before that.
Can my company suggest a story?
